Tractors
Here’s a different type of painting than you are use to seeing on my blog! It was painted for my uncle Craig. Hmm…imagine that! Craig wanting me to paint a tractor. lol! Paintings like this take forever.
But finely it’s finished. YIPPIE!
The website for all the information and up coming events on tractor pulling; http://tmtpa.com/

If you can’t tell by this small picture, the tractor is busting through the Texas flag. =)
Sea Tree modern style painting
Here is one of my latest paintings I’ve finished. I’ve started a shop on etsy.com so I can start selling them. (hopefully!) Here is the link to my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5250481 I’m not trying to sell them to you!! I just wanted to share my latest project! lol! It’s fun to see what people think. Everyone has different taste! (This is also a good way of promoting my shop.)
Hope you like it!

Snowboarding trip!

Trail view. It was so pretty.

This one was taken at the top of the mountain. …It was COLD up there!

This was looking out our back door of our condo.

At the top again. This picture kind of makes you cold. Brrr! (Daniel and I)

Me and Kent :)

The crazy guys snowboarding with out their jackets are Kent and Daniel! Show-offs!!!!!! When I snapped this picture I was with out one myself but I wasn’t snowboarding like that! You would think with snow all over the ground you would be freezing your buns off but it felt great out side. Crazy, I know!

Kent flying down the hill!

Nathan at the top.

This is what we could snowboard on if we endured the freezing cold ride to the top. Ahh.. the fresh powder through the trees!

Daniel with his tong sticking through his nose breather hole! We were a serious bunch. lol!

After falling, I was looking up and noticed what a great view this was. lol!

This picture was a little blurred. But I had to show you the tunnel you ski through.

Old Things
Also another picture I took while at my mom and dads. I love all the different colors on this truck. I did brighten the colors a little. My camera sometimes doesn’t do it justice.

The sweetest brother in the whole world
Hello Ladies, he’s available! He would shoot me if he read this! He-he! (not literally of course) This is just a picture I took of him when I was down there a few weeks ago. Kent was taking some vender’s hunting at Ed’s place so I decided to go visit with my family. Better than being home alone. I thought this was a sweet picture of him and had to share. This is the look I always get from him. :) …Everyone say aw! lol! He really is a sweet brother. Don’t know what I’d do without him. I wouldn’t have said that when I still lived at home… we argued ALOT. I guess typical brother and sister for you. But we certainly had our moments. Some of our favorite past times were playing video games, going to town, and riding three-wheelers together. I’d say one of his out-standing quality’s is how kind and humble he is. (Well that’s two things) …Hope that’s not too mushy for you! It’s just the truth.
OK, I’ll stop already!!! Don’t want to embarrass him too badly!
Sorry Nate! :D

Port Aransas
Here are a few pictures I took over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was so relaxing and fun down there. I believe we all had a good time. …well I guess some of you still are having a good time there. Hmph! Not fair!
Our hut ‘Nippers’. So cute!
Just some more of my awesome photography! Kidding! heh heh! I, by far, am no where near as good as some of you bloggers. :)
Norma Jean told me to take this shot. It turned out very good. I love sunsets.
I plan to post more pictures soon… hopefully… you know me.
Kado
This Is CRAZY!
Hopefully none of you dads get any bright ideas from this! :0 Don’t try this at home!! lol! …The funny thing is, the kid was smiling …guess he thought it was fun! ;)
40 Things About Photography
I found this on a random blog and thought it was good enough to share! Hope you get the enjoyment and encouragement out of it as I did.
Here is where I had found it- http://mytasantiago.wordpress.com/
40 Things About Photography
On a more personal note. ![]()
1. Before everything else, make sure you take pictures with a CAMERA.
2. Never ever detest people who use camera phones or point-and-shoot cameras
3. If you can, ALWAYS LOOK THROUGH THE VIEWFINDER and not the LCD monitor because you get to see the real color of the subject and scene.
4. Clean your camera monitor at least once a week.
5. Recycle. White bond paper and aluminum foil can serve as reflectors. Used cellophane can be reused as filters. Darkly tinted glasses (good quality) can be used as polarizers.
6. Patience is a virtue.
7. Get a mentor. He or she can be your next door neighbor or someone a thousand miles away.
8. Set up a deviantART or Flickr account so your photos can be critiqued.
9. Never flame other photographers who you think are not so important as you. Remember, you once started like them.
10. Make sure you know what you’re taking a picture of.
11. Unfocused pieces are masterpieces as well.
12. Always have an extra battery packed in your camera back.
13. Rain and sun have their own corresponding beauty. It’s up to you to see what the difference is.
14. Download tutorials from the internet, then if you still don’t get it, ask someone to help you.
15. Make sure you also bring a tripod if you suffer from non-flash Parkinson’s disease.
16. TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAMERA!!!
17. The most expensive camera is not always the best.
18. When buying a camera, touch it first. If you feel tingly inside, then you and that camera are meant to be for each other.
19. Don’t harass people just so you can take a picture.
20. Faking a Press Pass is a good thing when doing some photojournalism shots. Make sure you don’t get caught. ![]()
21. A photo going through 30 photoshop actions = not a photograph anymore.
22. Deleting is a good thing sometimes.
23. Bending the rules of photography gives you a better picture.
24. Changing the color of your photo does not mean you’ve manipulated it.
25. Have fun. ![]()
26. You don’t have to always be in a positive mood to take pictures.
27. Be careful in the rain when taking pictures.
28. Mother Nature will always be here to inspire us, but sometimes it’s good to make your own creation.
29. The camera takes better photos than you do, but you take more interesting shots than it does (a thought coming from daverspertine)
30. Never think you’re never good. The trick is to always do what you do because it’s the only way to improve.
31. As much as possible don’t rely on your family or friends who do not have a background on art or courses on critique. My mom is an artist so I pretty much get good critique from her (good meaning that its content is stuffed up with both positive and negative comments).
32. Always have a camera strap.
33. It’s always good to go on photo shoots with fellow photographers. That way you can exercise and share your talent with other people.
34. Apply sunscreen when taking photos under the sun.
35. Never disregard the small things around you.
36. Keep in mind that you’ll be traveling when you’re a photographer.
37. Be active in contests (RL or online). Encourage yourself to do commissions.
38. Investing in photography is good, but remember you love taking photos more than money (this applies depending on your priorities).
39. Any kind of creation makes a creator a happy person! (coming from tasssos8)
40. You can’t spell photographer without HOT.
A Bit of Sewing
Thought you may like to see my latest skirt. It’s for my cousin Kayleigh. She loves these colors so I thought why not put them on her skirt… but with a different twist. Of course I know the colors are with the wrong words but it makes it kinda neat I thought.
You know me I love to be different some times! lol!
Back bottom side.
I’m curious how some of you are able to make your pictures bigger. I would really like to know how. To me it looks alot better to have them bigger.
